Amsterdam is the most famous and most populated city in the Netherlands, and for some reason, people seem to really dig it. Like when I talk to people who have gone there they go on and on about how great it is. Personally I don’t get what all the fuss is about. Sure I’ve been there, and I hated every second of it. In fact, there are enough reasons for me to hate to fill every blog on the Internet, but for the sake of brevity, I am only going to list 15 of them.

It’s One of the Most Bike-Friendly Cities in the World

Okay, so a couple of years ago Business Insider ranked Amsterdam as the number one most bike-friendly city in the world. I guess my question would be (besides who cares?), “What’s so freaking great about bikes?” They have no motors, which means you’ve got to make them go yourself, and when you do all that peddling usually you show up to your destination all sweaty and that’s just really gross.
